Orchid Glow

This is the perfect go to look when going from Winter to Summer. Our skins are still pale so it’s great to create a bit of a glow and focus on framing the eyes.

Build a strong brow using a liquid liner to frame your eyes. Apply a light natural toned eyeshadow to keep the softness around the eyes. Dot the inner corners of the eyes with a lighter colour metallic eyeshadow or pigment. Splash on a great mascara and a nude lipstick for en effortless feminine look.

What we used to get this look.

1. Prepping the skin
Prep the skin with Dr Hauschka Facial Toner and Laura Mercier Foundation Primer. A great local option is Smashbox Photofinish hydrating Primer.

2. Base layers
The foundation we applied is Chanel Vitalumiere. We used M.A.C Prep & Prime highlighter under the eyes.

3. Highlighting and bronzing
To highlight the cheekbones we applied Benefit High Beam Face Highlighter. You can also use Yardley Radiant Glo Illuminator as a more affordable option. Apply Chanel Bronzer onto the cheeks.

4. Brows
For the eyebrows we used Stila Liquid Eyeliner in Dark Brown.

5. Eyes
We used M.A.C Swish, Embark and Mulch eyeshadows. The shimmer in the inner corners of the eyes is Catrice Liquid Metal Look me in the Ice. Finish the eyes off with Sensai 38° Volumising Mascara.

6. Lips
You can use your favourite nude lip colour. Here we used the Rimmel Notting Hill Nude, which is very similar to very lush Tom Ford, Spanish Pink.
